Is this channel getting paid?
Paste a channel or video link. We read public YouTube data, ad placements and Partner Program signals, then show monetization status, estimated earnings and full channel stats.
YouTube earnings calculator
Estimate ad revenue from views and RPM (what a creator keeps per 1,000 views after YouTube's share). Long videos usually earn far more per view than Shorts.
How the checker works
Seeing an ad on a video does not prove the creator earns from it. YouTube can run ads on any channel. We combine several signals and show you each one.
- Read the linkChannel URL, @handle, channel ID, video, Shorts or live link. Legacy /c/ and /user/ links are resolved too.
- Pull public statsSubscribers, views, uploads, category, country, Made for Kids, keywords and topics from the YouTube Data API.
- Check partner signalsThe page's monetization flag, mid-roll ad breaks, memberships and members-only videos. These are only available inside the Partner Program.
- Weigh and explainEach signal counts for or against. You get a status, a confidence level and the evidence behind it.
- Estimate earningsMonthly views from recent uploads × RPM for the channel's category and country, shown as a range.

Questions
How accurate is the monetization status?
A monetization flag, mid-roll ad breaks or channel memberships are strong evidence, and we mark those results as high confidence. When we only see ads or only see a subscriber count, confidence drops and we say so. Only YouTube and the creator know for certain.
Why does a video show ads if the channel is not monetized?
YouTube's terms let it run ads on any video. On channels outside the Partner Program, YouTube keeps that revenue. Those videos usually get a single pre-roll and never mid-roll breaks.
What are the Partner Program requirements?
For ad revenue: 1,000 subscribers plus 4,000 public watch hours in the last 12 months, or 10 million Shorts views in 90 days. A lower tier for memberships and Super Thanks opens at 500 subscribers, 3 public uploads in 90 days and 3,000 watch hours (or 3 million Shorts views). Watch hours are private, so we can only check subscribers.
How are earnings estimated?
We estimate monthly views from how often the channel uploads and how many views recent uploads get, then multiply by a typical RPM for the channel's category and country. Real RPM depends on audience location, season, video length and ad formats, so treat the range as a rough guide.
